I am a retired teacher who finally has the time to devote to melting glass, playing with metals, and creating both one of a kind jewelry pieces as well as more affordable lines that utilize vintage or vintage inspired findings.  I have worked with glass for almost thirty years, in one temperature or another.  I was drawn into the world of borosilicate glass after working soley with soft glass for about four years.  With this glass, boro as it is called, opening the kiln in the morning is always a surprise!  All of the glass has been annealed in a digitally controlled kiln, a very important thing to look for when buying glass jewelry.  When my husband can’t find me in the house, he knows to look in either my glass or metals studio.  And, no, my bench is hardly ever this neat!
